The Museum Youth University organizes real lectures for young children between 8 and 12 years old in more than 50 musea in the Netherlands.

In the autumn of 2018 the lecture series: "Discover the World of Science" started in the Museum Boerhave in Leiden. Mw. dr. Carolina Jost of the section Electron Microscopy at the department of Cell and Chemical Immunology (LUMC) gave the first lecture in the series entitled: "How do the cells in my body differ from one another?" The lectures are specially for young children and just like at University the lectures start in autumn and spring and the kids get a real diploma.
