Thomas Bakkum

Thomas Bakkum is a Ph.D. student in the group of Sander van Kasteren at Leiden University, Leiden Institute of Chemistry, Bio-Organic Synthesis. His work focuses on the study host-pathogen interactions, using bioorthogonal labeling techniques in combination with Correlative Light-Electron Microscopy (CLEM) to visualize immune processes within their native ultrastructural context.
