Carolina Jost wint de Prof. Dr. Tammelingprijs

Carolina Jost from the Department of Cell and Chemical Biology received the Prof. dr. Dr. Tammeling award for best teacher.

During a festive gathering in HePatho, student association MFLS presented the LUMC Education Prizes on Tuesday 5 June. The presentation is the annual conclusion of the LUMC Education Conference. Just like last year, the prizes are divided into 9 categories. For example, students Robin van Eenige from Biomedical Sciences and Daniëlle Kort from Medicine received a Student Research Award.

The MFLS also looks annually at the best educational components in the LUMC. In Medicine, Issues Moving was declared the best block. In addition, FOS Allogeneic Transplantation and Immunotherapy (Biomedical Sciences), The Older Individual (Vitality and Aging) and Acute and Intensive Care (Pharmacy) were also praised. Translational Neuroscience is the best semi-minor according to the study association and the department of Pediatrics in the Alrijne hospital offers the best physician.

All winners of the educational awards received a golden feather from the hands of dean Pancras Hogendoorn and MFLS chairman Josif Vlaski during the ceremony. The winners will soon be given a spot on the Wall of Fame in the walkway between buildings 1 and 3.
